Mieke's cancer stopped responding to Brukinsa. The family is raising funds for the next line of treatment. Behind every dollar raised is a plan: rent kept current, treatments started on time, supplies stocked, volunteers coordinated, and small moments of dignity restored. We're being deliberate about how funds are used. Roughly 60% goes directly to the people and services at the center of this campaign. Around 25% covers immediate operational costs — transportation, materials, professional support. The remaining 15% is held as a buffer for the unexpected, because there is always something unexpected.
